Mitsubishi Xforce Becomes Malaysia’s Best-Selling Non-National Compact SUV

The locally-assembled Mitsubishi Xforce is off to a strong start in Malaysia after launching on April 8. Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) announced that the compact SUV collected around 2,600 bookings before launch and successfully delivered about 900 units within the same month. The company also revealed that the Xforce became Malaysia’s best-selling non-national compact SUV for April 2026, showing strong demand from local buyers.

Built in Pekan, Pahang, the Xforce is available in two variants — the Urban priced at RM110k and the Ultimate priced at RM120k. Both variants are powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated MIVEC engine producing 105 PS and 141 Nm, paired with an Aisin CVT gearbox.

The higher-spec Ultimate variant comes with several additional features, including selectable drive modes, a hands-free powered tailgate, a larger 12.3-inch infotainment display, wireless charging, Yamaha premium speakers, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as extra safety features such as Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).

With strong early sales momentum and a competitive feature list, the Xforce is quickly becoming one of the hottest compact SUVs in Malaysia right now.
