🌿 EMRO Malaysia Supports the Green-Preneur Festival 2025 at Sunway Big Box, Johor Bahru 🌿
We are pleased to share the highlights of the Green-Preneur Festival 2025, organized by JCI South Key. The event was successfully held on 26 July 2025 at Sunway Big Box, Johor Bahru, attracting more than 500 participants including students, teachers, and eco-enthusiasts. 🌏🌱🙆♀️🫰
We were honoured to welcome YB Tuan Mohd Hairi bin Mad Shah, EXCO Johor, Ministry of Youth & Sports, as the Guest of Honour, together with distinguished VIPs from JPNJ, MBDJ, IRDA, JCI Malaysia, and JCI World. Their presence and encouraging messages added tremendous value to the event and inspired participants to continue driving sustainable change.
EMRO Malaysia was proud to be part of this meaningful green initiative! We participated in the exhibition and EMAS Workshop, where participants learned how to make their own EMAS and received complimentary samples after the demonstration.

Greenpreneur Academy Business Pitching – Students presented creative, real-world solutions to environmental challenges such as waste management and water conservation, showcasing their innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.

Eco Workshops & Exhibitions – Featuring interactive booths, funfair-style games made from recycled materials, and hands-on upcycling activities.
Bucket Drum Opening Performance – A lively and creative showcase using recycled paint buckets, symbolizing sustainability through rhythm and art. 🎶
Organizing Chairperson Wong Yuxin and JCI South Key President Tang Mei Ay delivered inspiring messages about empowering youth to become eco-leaders and turning waste into value, reflecting the mission of the Green-Preneur movement.
This festival continues the legacy of the Last Straw Johor (LSJ) movement and introduces the Greenpreneur Academy, paving the way for a greener, youth-led future.
