SDS Top Baker is a well-recognised brand in the food processing industry, supplying baked products to retail chains and commercial partners across Malaysia. As production volume increased, the factory floor began to show cracks and wear and tear, creating surface dusting and hygiene concerns in areas that demand strict cleanliness. To ensure the facility continued to meet food safety standards, SDS Top Baker engaged us to deliver a flooring solution that enhances durability, hygiene, and day-to-day efficiency.

POLYGARD® PSL 6020 | 6mm Self-Levelling Hybrid Polyurethane- Smooth Finish
A seamless, food-grade epoxy flooring system was selected to provide a durable, hygienic, and easy-to-clean surface for SDS Top Baker’s production operations. The team began by repairing cracks and addressing worn areas to restore the substrate, followed by the application of a high-build epoxy coating designed to withstand constant foot traffic, trolley movement, and daily washdowns. Instead of an anti-slip texture, the client opted for a smooth finished floor to achieve a cleaner, sleeker look and to simplify routine cleaning. The installation was completed within 3 days with minimal disruption to production activities, resulting in a strong, long-lasting, and hygienic flooring surface that fully supports SDS Top Baker’s food safety and operational needs.
