Sherry Wong Ming Ee

Sherry, originally from Sarawak, is a dedicated musician and educator currently pursuing her studies at the Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA) under the Music Department, majoring in Piano and minoring in Violin. Her musical journey began at the age of five, and over the years, she has achieved ABRSM Grade 8 in Piano, Trinity Grade 6 in Violin, and ABRSM Grade 5 in Music Theory.

With a deep passion for teaching, Sherry finds great joy in guiding students along their musical path. She believes in nurturing each student’s growth step by step, helping them develop both technical ability and artistic confidence. For her, seeing her students make progress and discover their potential is one of the most fulfilling parts of being a teacher.

Sherry’s teaching philosophy goes beyond learning notes and techniques — she aims to inspire students to build self-confidence, discipline, and a genuine love for music. She strives to make every lesson meaningful, encouraging her students to set personal goals and find joy and purpose in their musical journey.
