🌞 Empowering Businesses Towards Smarter Energy Management!

Today, 22 October 2025, Solar Sunyield Sdn Bhd, in collaboration with MICCI Perak Branch, successfully organized an exclusive Seminar on “How to Reduce Maximum Demand Cost for Non-Domestic Medium Voltage Businesses,” exclusively for MICCI members.

Our first session was led by Mr. Alden Hew, Managing Director of Solar Sunyield Sdn Bhd, who shared valuable insights on:
🔹 Understanding the concept of Maximum Demand
🔹 The difference between Normal Tariff and Time-of-Use (TOU) Tariff
🔹 How Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and Energy Management System (EMS) help reduce Maximum Demand Charges through the Peak Shaving Mechanism

The second session featured Mr. Eric, Regional Manager of Canadian Solar Industries, who focused on the technical aspects of solar and BESS systems, demonstrating how innovation can drive energy efficiency and sustainability for businesses.

A big thank you to MICCI Perak for the collaboration, and to our partner Mr. Eric from Canadian Solar for supporting this event and sharing valuable knowledge. 🙏

Together, we move towards a cleaner, smarter, and more efficient energy future. ☀️
