History of Welding
Welding is one of the oldest and most important metalworking techniques. Its history dates back more than 2,000 years, when ancient blacksmiths joined pieces of iron by heating and hammering them together. In the 19th century, new methods such as arc welding and gas welding were invented, allowing metals to be fused using electricity or flame. During the World Wars, welding became essential for building ships, tanks, and aircraft. Today, modern welding uses advanced technology like laser and robotic systems, making it faster, stronger, and more precise than ever.
