BRDB Developments Sdn Bhd has appointed SPACE Group as its interior design partner for Eden Taman Duta, a high-end residential development located within the exclusive Taman Duta enclave in Kuala Lumpur.
This collaboration marks a renewed partnership between the two companies, following a successful interior fit-out project completed more than a decade ago. For Eden Taman Duta, the focus is on delivering personalised, thoughtfully designed living spaces that reflect the individuality of each homeowner.
According to BRDB deputy chief executive officer Yasmin Khan, the developer prioritised working with established design brands from the early planning stage to ensure the interiors complement the project’s vision.
She noted that the involvement of SPACE brings design expertise and craftsmanship that enhances the overall living experience, particularly within the Eden Taman Duta show unit, which showcases a balance of luxury, comfort and personal expression.
Eden Taman Duta is a boutique condominium development with a gross development value of RM1.52 billion. It comprises 146 expansive residences, with unit sizes ranging from approximately 5,300 sq ft to over 19,000 sq ft, including 22 exclusive double-storey penthouses. Designed as a low-density development, it offers residents a private and tranquil environment despite being located near Kuala Lumpur’s key commercial and lifestyle hubs.
The project enjoys close proximity to major landmarks such as Merdeka 118, Tun Razak Exchange and the MATRADE Exhibition & Convention Centre. It is also conveniently located near international schools including Mont’Kiara International School, Garden International School and Alice Smith School, as well as established healthcare facilities such as Pantai Hospital, Prince Court Medical Centre and Tung Shin Hospital.
SPACE Group said it has carefully curated the interiors to reflect Eden Taman Duta’s nature-inspired design philosophy. The interiors feature refined material selections, including stone finishes, timber detailing, custom wall treatments and layered textures, creating living spaces that blend understated elegance with a sense of calm.
Residents will also have access to SPACE Atelier, a bespoke interior design service that allows homeowners to personalise their homes with professional guidance from the SPACE team, extending the design collaboration beyond the point of purchase.
SPACE and Poliform head of Interiors and Business Development for Asia Pacific, David Hartikainen, said the project provides an opportunity to translate personal narratives into functional and expressive living environments tailored to each homeowner’s lifestyle.
From a broader property market perspective, Eden Taman Duta reflects sustained demand for premium residential and mixed-use developments located near commercial property in KL, while complementing growth in other segments such as office space in Bukit Jalil, industrial land in Selangor, factory developments in Puchong, and industrial property in the Subang area, where strategic locations and quality design continue to drive long-term value.
BRDB continues to focus on delivering low-density, premium developments in prime locations including Bangsar, Iskandar Puteri and Permas Jaya. Beyond development, the group manages a portfolio of investment properties, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable and long-term growth across Malaysia’s real estate landscape.
