Proton e.MAS Sales Jump 329.5% In Early 2026
Proton e.MAS has reported a significant rise in sales performance for the first four months of 2026, recording a 329.5% increase with a total of 11,617 vehicles delivered nationwide.
The strong growth highlights increasing demand for electric vehicles (EVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) among Malaysian consumers, as well as growing confidence in Proton’s expanding new energy vehicle (NEV) lineup.
To further strengthen its presence nationwide, Pro-Net — the sales and distribution arm for Proton’s NEV division — recently opened two new Proton e.MAS outlets. One showroom is located along Jalan Sultan Ismail in Kuala Lumpur, while another new outlet has been introduced at Pavilion Bukit Jalil.
Both locations feature Proton e.MAS’ latest premium corporate identity, offering customers a more modern and immersive retail experience through upgraded digital features, premium materials, and improved customer touchpoints.
Currently, Proton e.MAS operates 53 outlets nationwide and is supported by more than 1,600 employees across sales, servicing, and administration, reinforcing the company’s commitment to strengthening the EV ownership experience in Malaysia.
