Test Drive Proton e.MAS and Win Gold Bars Plus Australia Holiday Trip



Proton is accelerating interest in electrified vehicles with the launch of its latest nationwide initiative, the e.MAS Golden Test Drive campaign, running from April 13 to May 17. Designed to encourage more Malaysians to experience electric mobility, the campaign rewards participants with daily prizes simply for getting behind the wheel and placing a booking.



Customers who test drive and reserve any model under the Proton e.MAS lineup will be eligible to enter, with winners selected every day throughout the campaign period. In total, 30 gold bars weighing 3 grams each will be given away, aligning with the campaign’s concept of “30 Gold Bars in 30 Days.”



The participating models include the fully electric Proton e.MAS 5 and e.MAS 7, as well as the e.MAS 7 PHEV, offering both EV and plug-in hybrid options for a wide range of drivers. By combining hands-on driving experiences with attractive incentives, Proton aims to make the transition to electrified vehicles more accessible and appealing.



According to Pro-Net CEO Zhang Qiang, test drives play a crucial role in helping first-time EV users better understand the technology and build confidence before making a purchase. He also highlighted that rising fuel costs and current economic conditions are prompting more consumers to consider alternatives such as EVs and hybrids.

Proton’s growing presence in the EV market is evident, with the e.MAS range accounting for a significant share of electric vehicle sales in Malaysia this year. The campaign further reinforces the brand’s commitment to expanding its footprint in the electrified segment.



Adding to the excitement, the campaign will conclude with a grand finale featuring premium rewards. The top prize includes an exclusive five-day, four-night trip to Australia for two, while three additional winners will each receive a 5-gram gold bar.

With strong incentives and a focus on real-world driving experience, Proton’s latest campaign is set to draw more Malaysians closer to the future of mobility.
