Enhancing Facility Ventilation with Turbine Technology

We are pleased to share the latest progress on our industrial infrastructure upgrades. Our specialized roofing team is currently installing high-efficiency turbine ventilators (whirlybirds) across our blue corrugated metal facility to optimize thermal regulation and air quality.

Phase 1: Precision Engineering & Safety

Safety remains our primary objective. Before any rooftop activity commenced, our safety officers conducted a comprehensive risk assessment. All technicians are equipped with full-body harnesses, high-visibility gear, and hard hats to ensure compliance with height-safety protocols.

Phase 2: Custom Fabrication & Integration

To ensure a seamless fit with the unique profile of the corrugated metal, our team prepared custom flashing and base plates on-site. This precision prevents gaps between the ventilator unit and the roofing material.

Key Technical Steps:

  • Structural Cutting: Precise circular openings were cut through the metal skin and high-density glass wool insulation.

  • Watertight Flashing: Silver metal sheets were integrated into the roof line to divert water flow.

  • Turbine Mounting: The spherical vane units were secured to the bases, utilizing natural convection and wind power to exhaust heat and moisture without electrical consumption.

Phase 3: Weatherproofing & Final Inspection

To guarantee long-term durability against the elements, technicians applied industrial-grade silicone sealant to all flashing edges. This multi-layered sealing process ensures the facility remains 100% watertight during heavy rainfall while maintaining maximum airflow efficiency.
