Fuel Prices Down Across Malaysia for May 14–20, 2026
Malaysia’s finance ministry has released the latest weekly fuel prices for the period of May 14 to 20, 2026, with motorists set to enjoy lower rates for both petrol and diesel this week.
Diesel prices have recorded a noticeable decrease, as B10 and B20 diesel are now priced at RM4.87 per litre, down from RM5.17 previously. Following the adjustment, Euro 5 B7 diesel — which carries a 20 sen premium — will retail at RM5.17 per litre for the upcoming week. Meanwhile, diesel prices in Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan remain unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.
For petrol users, the subsidised RON 95 fuel under the Budi Madani RON95 (Budi95) programme continues to be offered at RM1.99 per litre. The subsidy remains available to all Malaysians holding a valid driving licence, with the temporary monthly allocation maintained at 200 litres.
In contrast, unsubsidised RON 95 petrol has been reduced by 15 sen, bringing the new price to RM3.87 per litre. RON 97 users will also benefit from a lower rate, as the fuel now costs RM4.70 per litre, a drop of 20 sen compared to last week.
