Selamat Hari Malaysia

Hari Malaysia, or Malaysia Day, is celebrated on 16th September every year. It marks the day in 1963 when Sabah, Sarawak, and Singapore joined Malaya to form Malaysia. Although Singapore later separated in 1965, the formation of Malaysia remains an important moment in the nation’s history. Malaysia Day celebrates the unity and formation of a larger federation. It is a reminder of the importance of diversity, cooperation, and harmony among the different states and ethnic groups in Malaysia. Today, Hari Malaysia is a public holiday celebrated with patriotic events, cultural performances, parades, and speeches.
