Conduct load analysis, energy audits, and ROI calculations
Evaluate site suitability for heat pump or chilled water applications
Recommend system types, capacities, and sustainable design options
Conceptual & Detailed Engineering Design Review
Review and validate system designs, layouts, and specifications
Ensure integration with existing MEP services and sustainability goals
Evaluate system sizing (kW, RT, COP) and ensure local regulatory compliance
Procurement Support & Tender Evaluation
Prepare or review technical specifications and tender documents
Assist in vendor prequalification and bid evaluation
Ensure equipment compliance with energy efficiency and green building standards (e.g., GBIs, LEED)
Construction & Installation Supervision
Monitor contractor performance, adherence to specifications, and site progress
Coordinate stakeholder communication and technical clarification
Review method statements, work schedules, and QA/QC documentation
Testing, Commissioning & Verification (T&C)
Supervise system startup, flushing, balancing, and performance testing
Verify COP, flow rates, temperatures, and kW/RT as per design targets
Ensure functionality of BMS integration, control logic, and safety devices
Energy Efficiency & Sustainability Oversight
Recommend and track KPIs for energy and water performance
Identify heat recovery opportunities (e.g., heat pumps producing hot water)
Support integration with solar PV, thermal storage, or low-carbon strategies
Project Scheduling & Risk Management
Develop project timelines and monitor milestones
Identify technical, financial, and operational risks with mitigation plans
Conduct progress meetings and generate weekly/monthly reports
Documentation & Handover
Ensure complete as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and warranties are delivered
Facilitate training for facility teams on system operation and energy optimization
Post-Commissioning Monitoring & Support (Optional)
Offer continuous performance tracking of heat pumps or chiller plants
Provide data-driven recommendations for operational improvements
Support preventive maintenance and future retrofits or system upgrade
