Malaysia Fuel Prices Updated for 22–28 January 2026


The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has announced the latest retail fuel prices in Malaysia for the week of 22 to 28 January 2026, with several fuel types recording price increases.

The price of subsidised RON95 for Malaysians remains unchanged at RM1.99 per litre, in line with the BUDI MADANI RON95 (BUDI95) subsidy programme.

Meanwhile, unsubsidised RON95 for non-Malaysians has increased by 2 sen, bringing the new retail price to RM2.54 per litre, following the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM) formula.

RON97 has also seen a 2 sen increase, with the premium fuel now priced at RM3.10 per litre. Diesel prices have risen by 4 sen in Peninsular Malaysia. The new prices are RM2.88 per litre for Euro 5 B10/B20, while Euro 5 B7 is now priced at RM3.08 per litre.In East Malaysia, diesel prices remain unchanged, with Euro 5 B10/B20 retailing at RM2.15 per litre and Euro 5 B7 at RM2.35 per litre.

These latest fuel prices take effect from midnight tonight and will remain in force until the next scheduled announcement by the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday, 28 January 2026.
