MOF Announces RM200 Budi Diesel Aid Payment Schedule for 2026
The Ministry of Finance (MOF) has announced the 2026 payment schedule for the RM200 Budi Diesel monthly cash assistance, aimed at helping eligible private diesel vehicle owners and small-scale farmers in Peninsular Malaysia cope with the impact of the targeted diesel subsidy. The Budi Diesel programme was introduced in May 2024, ahead of the targeted diesel subsidy that began on June 9, 2024. Applications are open under two categories: Budi Individu for private diesel vehicle owners and Budi Agri-Komoditi for farmers and smallholders, while fleet operators are covered under a separate system. For Budi Individu, applicants must be Malaysian citizens who own a privately registered diesel vehicle with valid road tax and earn RM100,000 or less per year. Luxury diesel vehicles under 10 years old are not eligible. For Budi Agri-Komoditi, applicants must be registered farmers or smallholders with relevant government agencies and have annual earnings between RM50,000 and RM300,000 from farming or commodity activities. Applications are open all year with no closing date, and eligible individuals are encouraged to check their eligibility and register through the official Budi Diesel platform to receive the monthly RM200 assistance.
