Puspakom Temporarily Suspends GiCheck Refund Feature Until March 8
Puspakom has announced a temporary suspension of the refund submission feature on its GiCheck mobile application, effective from February 23 until March 8.
According to the vehicle inspection company, users will not be able to submit refund requests via the GiCheck app during this period. The system is scheduled to resume normal operations at 12.01 am on March 9, after which refund applications can once again be submitted.
Puspakom clarified that the refund eligibility period remains one month from the vehicle inspection date. Importantly, customers will not lose their entitlement if the eligibility window overlaps with the system downtime.
Any days affected by the suspension will be carried forward once the system is operational again, ensuring that users are given the full refund application period. As an example, if a vehicle inspection was conducted on January 28, the original refund deadline would have been February 28. However, since the system downtime begins on February 23, the six affected days will be carried forward, resulting in a new refund deadline of March 5.
Puspakom advises users to submit their refund requests once the GiCheck system is back online and reassures customers that the temporary suspension will not affect their refund eligibility.
