World Refrigeration Day is an international awareness campaign established by the World Refrigeration Day Secretariat to raise the profile of the refrigeration, airconditioning, and heat-pump sector and focuses attention on the significant role that the industry and its technology play in modern life and society. It draws attention to the wonderful engineering and science that is all around us every day. Refrigeration is at the very heart of modern life. It enables people to live, travel, and work comfortably. It saves lives. It enables people to achieve.
In conjunction with World Refrigeration Day, ASHRAE UniKL MFI Student Branch is organizing a Refrigeration System Design Competition 2024 with support from ASHRAE Malaysia Chapter.
Welcoming speech was given by YBhg. Dr Badli Shah Mohd Yusoff , Dean / Head of Campus, UNIKL MFI and followed by Opening Speech by Department Of Environment represented by Mr. Ryan Ooi Chean Weai Senior Principal Assistant Director of Air Division, Department of Environment.
Appreciation Award Presentation Presented by ASHRAE Malaysia Chapter as well the Souvenir Presentation was well managed by Mr Tee Tone Vei President ASHRAE Malaysia Chapter.

5) Technical seminar 4 : Stop the Leak: Detection & Maintenance Strategies for Refrigerant Loss Prevention = Ts. Dr. King Yeong Jin Deputy Dean (Academic) Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment & Information Technology SEGi University & Colleges
The seminar was attended by 400 participants who gained valuable knowledge applicable to their respective fields.
