Proton Teams Up with Continental Malaysia to Offer Tyre Services
Proton has officially announced a strategic partnership with Continental Malaysia to offer integrated tyre services at selected Proton service centres nationwide. These services will include tyre sales, installation, and aftersales support, using tyres from Continental Malaysia. 60 Proton outlets across Malaysia will provide this service, with a full nationwide rollout expected by Q2 2026. Customers can now purchase and install tyres during routine service appointments, with prices starting from RM211 per tyre for the Proton Saga. Included in the offering is Continental’s Total Confidence Plan (TCP), which provides a one-year warranty against road hazards, allowing for a one-to-one tyre replacement in the event of unexpected damage. To enhance payment flexibility, customers can also opt for monthly instalment plans via the Direct Lending financing facility. Roslan Abdullah, CEO of Proton Edar, stated, “While our recent headlines have centred on strong sales and new models, we have also been heavily investing in aftersales services. The introduction of tyre services marks the next step in transforming our 3S/4S centres into complete one-stop service centres.”
