PROTON has officially launched the Proton e.MAS 5 in Singapore, marking another important milestone in the brand's regional electric vehicle (EV) expansion. Introduced through PROTON's official distributor, VINCAR Group, the e.MAS 5 becomes the second Proton EV model available in Singapore, following the launch of the Proton e.MAS 7 last year.
The launch reinforces PROTON's commitment to growing its international presence and expanding its EV business beyond Malaysia. As one of Southeast Asia's most competitive and mature EV markets, Singapore provides an ideal platform for PROTON to showcase the quality, technology, and value of its electric vehicles to a wider regional audience.
The Proton e.MAS 5 is currently Malaysia's best-selling EV, reflecting its strong popularity in the domestic market. In addition, together with its Geely counterpart, the model has achieved more than 610,000 cumulative global sales, highlighting its proven success and growing acceptance across international markets.
