Perodua Reduces Service Parts and Labour Costs by 10% Nationwide
Perodua has announced a 10% reduction in the prices of its service maintenance parts and labour charges across Malaysia, starting from 19 June.
The move is expected to help customers lower their vehicle maintenance expenses, making car ownership more affordable for millions of Perodua owners.
Unlike many service promotions that only offer discounts on selected items, Perodua's latest initiative covers both maintenance parts and labour costs. This means customers can enjoy savings on their overall service bills during their next visit to an authorised service centre.
Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad, said the reduction applies directly to the cost of maintenance parts as well as labour charges involved in servicing a vehicle.
According to the company, customers can expect to save around 10% on their average maintenance costs.
The discount is available for all Perodua models, including older vehicles such as the Myvi, Axia and Alza, as well as the company's latest electric vehicle, the QV-E.
The company said the cost reduction was made possible through improved production efficiency and better operational management. These improvements allow Perodua to pass the savings on to customers while maintaining its quality and safety standards.
With more than five million Perodua vehicles on Malaysian roads, the initiative is expected to benefit a large number of drivers nationwide.
Malaysia
