iCaur Malaysia Upgrades EV Battery Warranty to 10 Years/200,000 KM
iCaur Malaysia has reached a significant milestone by delivering more than 3,000 vehicles nationwide within less than a year of introducing its first model, the iCaur 03, to the Malaysian market in September 2025.
The brand continues to gain momentum in the local EV segment, with the iCaur V23 emerging as Malaysia’s best-selling non-national electric vehicle in May 2026. This strong performance has also helped position iCaur as the third best-selling EV brand in the country, both for the month of May and on a year-to-date basis.
As part of its appreciation towards customers, iCaur Malaysia has announced an enhanced warranty package for all vehicles registered in 2026. The warranty coverage for the power battery, drive unit and high-voltage components has been upgraded to 10 years or 200,000 km, an improvement over the previous coverage of eight years or 160,000 km. The standard vehicle warranty remains unchanged at seven years or 150,000 km.
In addition to expanding its customer benefits, iCaur is also growing its retail network across Malaysia. The company currently operates 21 sales outlets nationwide, including a newly opened boutique showroom at Pavilion Bukit Jalil managed by Rover Drive Sdn Bhd, as well as a new full-service showroom in Seremban operated by NexV Synergy Sdn Bhd. The brand aims to increase its network to 30 outlets by the end of 2026.
At present, iCaur offers two fully electric models in Malaysia. The locally assembled iCaur 03, priced from around RM130,000, and the iCaur V23, which is available between RM120,000 and RM133,000. Looking ahead, the company is also expected to explore the introduction of range-extended electric vehicle (REEV) technology, potentially broadening its future product lineup.
