Rembawang Holdings Launches 97 SCOTT, Its First High-Rise Residential Development in Brickfields

KUALA LUMPUR (June 5) — Rembawang Holdings Sdn Bhd has officially launched 97 SCOTT, a freehold low-density residential project in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur, marking the developer's debut in the high-rise residential segment.

With a gross development value (GDV) exceeding RM100 million, the development comprises a single 38-storey tower featuring 97 duplex units on a compact 0.33-acre site along Jalan Scott.

According to Rembawang Holdings founder and group executive chairperson Datin Seri Kamisah Johan, the project reflects the same quality standards that the company has applied to its previous developments.

She highlighted that the group's flagship landed project, Teringin Sri Ukay, achieved a QLASSIC score of 81%, while its Grade-A corporate tower at Persiaran Lidcol was fully acquired before completion.

Designed by Cipta Teguh Architects Sdn Bhd, 97 SCOTT offers a maximum of eight units per floor, enhancing privacy and exclusivity for residents. The duplex units range from 669 sq ft to 1,254 sq ft, with over 10 layout configurations available.

Most units are oriented to capture panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur's skyline, including iconic landmarks such as the Merdeka 118, Petronas Twin Towers, and The Exchange 106.

Cipta Teguh Architects founding partner and executive managing director Lew Chieh Seong said the project was conceived to balance contemporary urban living with the cultural identity of the Brickfields neighbourhood, focusing on both functionality and visual harmony.

In conjunction with the launch, Rembawang Holdings has appointed China State Construction Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd (CSCEM) as the project's main contractor. CSCEM is a subsidiary of China State Construction Engineering Corporation and has previously delivered major developments in Malaysia, including The Exchange 106 and Jesselton Twin Towers in Sabah.

CSCEM deputy general manager Xua Xiao Bing said the company specialises in technically demanding urban developments and looks forward to working closely with Rembawang Holdings on the project.

Strategically located, 97 SCOTT is approximately 450 metres from the Tun Sambanthan Monorail Station and 750 metres from KL Sentral, providing residents with convenient access to Kuala Lumpur's rail networks and major highways, including the Federal Highway, New Pantai Expressway (NPE), and Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 1 (MRR1).
