One of our most challenging and iconic projects is the CelcomDigi signage installation at Petaling Jaya HQ of a massive 26,000mm tall corporate logo . This is not a standard signage job both the building façade and the scale of the signage pushed the limits of conventional installation methods.
Key Challenges
The building is a contemporary high-rise structure featuring a non-planar façade and complex architectural geometry, requiring engineered façade coordination for external installations such as large-format signage, which created major alignment and mounting challenges. Every fixing point required precise adjustment to ensure the signage sits correctly without distortion from different viewing angles.
In addition, the signage itself was extremely large and heavy, reaching the upper limit of material handling capability for this type of installation. This required careful planning for lifting, positioning, and load distribution on the structure.
This project demanded:
Detailed structural calculation and load analysis
Custom engineering solutions for non-flat façade conditions
Innovative installation methodology and sequencing
Strict wind load and safety consideration at high elevation
Time & Precision Requirement
Due to the complexity and scale, the installation process took almost 2 months to complete on-site. Every stage required precision—there was no room for error, as alignment and safety were critical at every step.
The CelcomDigi HQ signage stands as a clear example of how we handle projects that go beyond standard contractor capability. When buildings are complex, materials are large, and precision is critical, we combine engineering, safety, and high-rise expertise to deliver successful outcomes.
