Fuel Prices Updates: RON 97 and Diesel See Increases for June 19–25, 2025

The Ministry of Finance has released the updated retail fuel prices for the week of June 19 to June 25, 2025, under Malaysia’s weekly fuel pricing mechanism.

For this period, RON 97 petrol will experience a price increase of seven sen, bringing the new price to RM3.14 per litre, compared to RM3.07 the previous week. This marks a moderate upward adjustment amid fluctuating global fuel trends. In contrast, RON 95 petrol will remain unchanged at RM2.05 per litre, maintaining its position at the government-set ceiling price that has been in effect since February 2021.

Diesel prices are also subject to a revision this week. The Euro 5 B10 and B20 diesel blends will increase by seven sen, rising from RM2.74 to RM2.81 per litre. Following the usual 20 sen price difference, the Euro 5 B7 diesel is now priced at RM3.01 per litre.

Meanwhile, in East Malaysia, diesel users will see no change in pricing. The retail price for diesel in Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan remains fixed at RM2.15 per litre, continuing the region’s existing subsidised rate.

These revised prices will take effect starting 12:01 a.m. on June 19, 2025, and will remain valid until the next fuel price update on June 26, 2025.
