Dengue Alert: Protect Yourself and Your Family  登革热警报：保护您和您的家人

Dengue cases are rising across Selangor. Dengue is a mosquito-borne viral infection that can affect people of all ages and may lead to serious complications if not treated promptly.
目前雪兰莪州登革热病例持续上升。登革热是一种由伊蚊传播的病毒感染，可影响任何年龄层的人士，严重时甚至可能危及生命。

Early symptoms include 登革热常见症状 :

• High fever 高烧
• Severe headache 剧烈头痛
• Pain behind the eyes 眼眶后疼痛
• Muscle and joint pain 肌肉及关节疼痛
• Nausea or vomiting 恶心或呕吐
• Skin rash 皮肤出现红疹

Seek immediate medical attention if you experience:
若出现以下警示症状，请立即就医:

• Severe abdominal pain 严重腹痛
• Persistent vomiting 持续呕吐
• Bleeding from the gums or nose 牙龈或鼻子出血
• Extreme weakness or drowsiness 极度疲倦、嗜睡或意识模糊
• Difficulty breathing 呼吸困难

How You Can Prevent Dengue  如何预防登革热？

• ✅ Eliminate stagnant water around your home.   定期检查家中及周围环境，避免积水。
• ✅ Clean and scrub water containers regularly.    定期清洗并刷洗储水容器。
• ✅ Cover all water storage containers tightly.       将所有储水容器妥善加盖。
• ✅ Empty items that collect rainwater.    清空所有可能积水的容器。
• ✅ Keep your surroundings clean and mosquito-free.     保持居家及周围环境清洁，杜绝蚊虫滋生。
• ✅ Use mosquito repellent and wear long-sleeved clothing, especially during the daytime.    白天外出时使用防蚊液，并穿着长袖衣裤，减少蚊虫叮咬。

Remember  请牢记

Having dengue once does not provide complete protection. A second dengue infection can be more severe and increase the risk of dengue haemorrhagic fever and dengue shock syndrome.
经感染过登革热 并不代表终身免疫。再次感染不同血清型的登革热病毒时，发生**重症登革热（严重出血、休克或器官损伤）**的风险会更高。

If you develop a fever lasting more than 2 days, especially with severe body aches, headache, rash, or after mosquito exposure, seek medical assessment promptly. Early diagnosis, adequate hydration, and close monitoring can significantly reduce the risk of complications.
若您持续发烧超过 2 天，尤其伴有剧烈头痛、全身酸痛、皮疹或曾暴露于蚊虫叮咬环境，请尽早就医。及早诊断、充分补充水分及密切观察病情，可有效降低严重并发症的风险。
