• Stay on a regular prevention routine. Common options include monthly spot-on treatments, oral chewables, and long-lasting collars — your vet can suggest what suits your pet.
• Check after outdoor time. Run your hands through your pet's coat, especially around the neck, ears and between toes.
• Keep bedding clean. Wash pet bedding regularly and vacuum where they rest.
• Don't skip a month. Gaps in protection are when infestations sneak in.
