【Stroke Recovery Case | Regaining Mobility After Acupuncture】

Recently, I treated a patient in his 50s who came to me for acupuncture therapy after suffering from a stroke.

On the first day of consultation, his condition was quite serious. He arrived in a wheelchair and required assistance from others to move him onto the treatment bed. At that point, his mobility was significantly limited, and he was unable to walk independently.

After a thorough assessment, I began a treatment plan focused on acupuncture, targeting specific points to stimulate recovery, improve circulation, and support neurological function.

Over the course of the treatment, his progress was encouraging.

By the fourth session, shortly after the treatment, he was able to stand up and walk on his own. Even more remarkably, he no longer needed the support of a walking stick.

Today marks his fifth treatment session, and his recovery has continued to improve steadily. His ability to move has become more stable, and his confidence has significantly increased.

【A Remarkable Recovery】

This case clearly demonstrates how the body can respond positively when given the right form of stimulation and support.

While every patient’s condition and recovery speed may vary, early and consistent treatment can make a significant difference in the rehabilitation process.

【Final Thoughts】

Stroke recovery requires time, patience, and the right approach.
With proper care and timely intervention, improvement is always possible.
