• Pioneering STD Services in Perak: Displaying exceptional clinical leadership, Dr. Yak successfully spearheaded the establishment of specialized Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) clinics across two distinct clinical areas within the Perak region, heavily expanding local access to confidential and judgment-free screening and care.

• Global Case Presentations: His blueprint for creating an "STD-Friendly Clinic" in rural sectors was so impactful that it was selected for presentation at the World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA) World Conference 2023 and the Men's Health World Congress 2023.

• Service Excellence: His unwavering commitment to transforming public clinic capabilities earned him the Excellence Service Award from the Ministry of Health (Manjung District, Perak) in 2021.
