June 11 Late-Morning Stainless Steel Recheck: 304 Reference Still Around RMB 14,800-15,400/Tonne

📌 A fresh late-morning recheck on June 11, 2026 shows that major public stainless steel reference pages had not yet posted a newer June 11 spot table at the time of review. Shanghai Metals Market’s latest verifiable stainless steel table remained dated June 10, while Business Society’s June 11 benchmark still listed stainless steel around RMB14,833.33 per tonne and stainless steel coil around RMB14,875.00 per tonne. Using an indicative CNY/MYR rate near 0.6007, the benchmark level remains roughly RM8.91-RM8.94 per kg for reference only.

🔩 The most useful white steel reference for buyers remains the 304 segment. SMM’s latest public table showed 304/2B coil at RMB15,125 per tonne and 304/NO.1 coil at RMB14,510 per tonne, while the Foshan market table placed 304/2B rough-edge coil at RMB14,800-15,400 per tonne, with an average of RMB15,100 per tonne. The 304/2B trimmed-edge coil was shown at RMB15,700-15,800 per tonne. These figures suggest the practical procurement reference is still steady rather than sharply updated in late morning trading.

♻️ For stainless steel scrap and remelting material, SMM’s latest public references continued to show Foshan 201 remelting material at RMB4,700-5,000 per tonne, Foshan 430 remelting material at RMB3,750-3,850 per tonne, and Shanghai 316 remelting material at RMB21,600-21,800 per tonne. Mysteel’s public snippets also pointed to stable Foshan scrap references around 201 new material near RMB4,900 per tonne and 304 industrial material around RMB9,800 per tonne. Actual deals still depend on grade, nickel content, cleanliness, location and volume. 💼
