Five Killed, Including Baby, in Serian Crash

Five people, including a baby girl, were killed in a crash at Jalan Baki Lama-Ensengei in Serian, Sarawak. The vehicle carrying the victims, believed to be from the same family, reportedly lost control before crashing into a roadside water pipe during the 8.30am incident.

The victims were identified as Mohammad Bostari Aidit, Ajibah Ahmat, Nur Farah Shahira Narudin, Nur Ain Nasrin Narudin and two-year-old Nur Assyfa Luthfya Narudin. Fire and rescue personnel from Serian were deployed after an emergency call was received at 8.41am, reaching the scene at 9.04am.

Firefighters extricated the four adult victims, while the baby girl was found by members of the public near the scene after she was believed to have been thrown from the vehicle due to the impact. Medical personnel confirmed all five victims dead at the scene before the case was handed over to police.
