Hypermarket operators who does not fulfill at least 30 percent Bumiputera or Malay ownership in the company’s equity structure must provide revenue contribution as follows:

Bumiputera Retail Development Trust Fund - 0.1% contribution from annual revenue for 10 years

Job Creation - Only 10% of non-Malaysians are allowed for management positions (Key Post and Managerial Level.

Leasing & Penetration - Compulsory to provide minimum 30% of business lots in hypermarket to Bumiputera.

Vendor / Maintenance / Service - Only appoint local companies for supply contracts (goods and services) to hypermarkets.

Micro Retail Transformation Programme (MRTP) - To facilitate, assist and exchange technology/ transforming to at least 5 local SME’s (per branch or annually).

Financing - Using local banking services for financing transaction.

  • 土著零售发展信托基金(Bumiputera Retail Development Trust Fund
    每年须按**年度营业收入的 0.1%**作出贡献,期限为 10 年。
  • 就业创造(Job Creation
    管理层职位(关键岗位及管理级别)中,非马来西亚籍人员比例不得超过 10%
  • 租赁与市场渗透(Leasing & Penetration
    必须在大卖场内提供至少 30% 的商业店铺单位予土著经营者。
  • 供应商/维修/服务(Vendor / Maintenance / Service
    仅可委任本地公司作为大卖场的货品及服务供应合同方。
  • 微型零售转型计划(Micro Retail Transformation Programme, MRTP
    须协助、扶持并进行技术交流,以推动至少 5 家本地中小企业(SME)实现转型(按每个分店或每年计算)。
  • 融资(Financing
    融资交易须使用马来西亚本地银行服务。
