EMRO Malaysia supported programmes conducted by Professor Dr Norahim Ibrahim of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) for students of two schools in Johor, 1) Sekolah Kebangsaan Tanjung Adang, Gelang Patah Johor, and 2) Sekolah Kebangsaan Kangkar Pulai. The programme provided hands-on experience for school children to manage organic food waste πŸ€©πŸ™†πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈπŸŒ
Environmental sustainability is also closely related to food security agenda. It is important to create long-term sustainable conditions for a food secure future.
EMRO donated 100kg of EM Bokashi to each school for the organic waste composting project. We support such initiatives to encourage young people’s sustainable behaviours, in the sincere hope that over time, students will bring such practices from school into home! πŸ’šβ™»οΈπŸŒ³πŸŒΏ
