Budi Madani RON95 Subsidy Website Now Live – Check Your Eligibility Today
Malaysians can now check their eligibility for the Budi Madani RON95 petrol subsidy through the official website at 👉www.budimadani.gov.my. Beginning September 30, those who qualify will enjoy RON95 petrol at a subsidised rate of RM1.99 per litre, while the unsubsidised price will stand at RM2.60 per litre. To find out if they are eligible, users simply need to key in their MyKad number (numbers only, without spaces) on the portal. Once approved, motorists can enjoy the subsidy by following three simple steps: a one-time MyKad verification, payment, and refuelling. Verification can be done directly at petrol stations via pump terminals or over-the-counter, or digitally through selected e-wallet applications such as Touch ‘n Go eWallet, Setel, and Caltex Go Rewards, with Petron and BHPetrol apps expected to join soon. If payment is made through the apps, motorists will not need manual verification at the counter. For general motorists, the subsidy covers a monthly quota of 300 litres, while e-hailing drivers have no purchase limit. Importantly, there will be no daily restriction on the number of times motorists can refuel, though the government has assured that strict measures will be in place to prevent abuse and profiteering of the subsidy system.
