Malaysia Weekly Fuel Prices Update: 18–24 Sept 2025

The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has released the latest retail fuel prices in Malaysia for the week of 18 to 24 September 2025, with some categories seeing minor adjustments while others remain unchanged. RON95 petrol, which has been capped by the government since February 2021, continues to hold steady at RM2.05 per litre, ensuring stability for everyday motorists. On the other hand, premium RON97 petrol records a modest increase of 3 sen, bringing its retail price to RM3.21 per litre.

Diesel users in Peninsular Malaysia will see a similar upward adjustment, with prices rising by 3 sen. The updated rates now stand at RM2.93 per litre for Euro 5 B10/B20 and RM3.13 per litre for Euro 5 B7. Meanwhile, motorists in East Malaysia will not be affected by the increase, as diesel prices remain unchanged at RM2.15 per litre for Euro 5 B10/B20 and RM2.35 per litre for Euro 5 B7.

These fuel prices will take effect from midnight, 18 September, and remain in force until the next review on 24 September 2025. Weekly adjustments such as these reflect the government’s commitment to balancing global oil price fluctuations while protecting consumers from sharp increases. As always, Malaysians are advised to keep track of these updates to better plan their travel and expenses in the week ahead.
