Following the successful flowering stage, Mr. Khoo is now implementing our fruit development program, closely adhering to the recommended fruit setting protocol — a highly critical phase where proper management is essential to minimize fruit drop, especially under drastic weather fluctuations.
During this stage, we applied SEABRIX, AMINO GOLD XL, TERRAFOL CAL+, and TERRAMICRO MIX to support strong fruit set and retention. These inputs work synergistically to enhance carbohydrate supply, improve stress resilience, strengthen cell wall development, and ensure balanced micronutrient availability.
This integrated approach helps to stabilize young fruits, reduce physiological stress, and significantly lower the risk of premature fruit drop caused by sudden environmental changes.
For soil nutrition, the farmer applies NPK 11-11-17 after fruit set at 15-day intervals to ensure a consistent and sufficient nutrient supply for the trees. This balanced fertilization supports continuous fruit development, maintains plant stability, and sustains performance during the high-demand fruiting stage.
As the fruits progress into the later development stage, the program transitions to a high potassium fertilizer such as NPK 15-3-20. This shift is essential to enhance fruit filling, improve fruit quality, and support sugar accumulation, ensuring better size, taste, and overall market value.
With a solid foundation built from earlier stages and precise intervention throughout fruit development, the orchard is on track for improved fruit retention, quality, and yield potential.
This reinforces the importance of a complete, stage-by-stage crop management strategy — from tree strengthening, to flowering, and now fruit development — ensuring consistent and sustainable production outcomes.
