【ESG & Community Outreach】 Rooting Health Education in the Heart of the Community

In our journey of practicing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), we believe that knowledge is the greatest gift we can give back to society. Recently, we successfully concluded a parent-child empowerment workshop in Johor Bahru focused on "Decoding Nutrition Labels," using professional expertise to safeguard every family’s dining table.

🎨 Making Nutrition Fun: Turning Labels into a "Discovery Map"

The organizers went above and beyond, transforming dry nutritional science into an engaging handicraft session. Guided by nutritionists, children learned to uncover the hidden secrets behind food packaging through interactive games and DIY crafts.

As the guest speaker, I conducted a two-hour deep-dive session, empowering parents with essential label-reading skills:

  • Identifying Sugar Traps: Recognizing the various "hidden names" for sugar in ingredient lists.

  • Calculating Real Calories: Understanding the difference between "per serving" and "per 100g" to avoid being misled.

  • Filtering Additives: Learning how to select the most natural ingredients amidst a sea of processed food options.

The focus and enthusiasm shown by the parents reinforced the importance of Community Science Communication. By bringing this knowledge directly to the people, we aim to bridge the gap in health information literacy.

❤️ Gratitude to Our Partners

A heartfelt thank you to the leader of the Pregnancy, Breastfeeding & Parenting Exchange Station and nutritionist Jacqueline for their professional coordination. We also thank Eco Bee Shop and Harvist for sponsoring the gifts. This cross-sector collaboration perfectly embodies the "Partnerships" pillar of the ESG framework.

🤝 Calling All NGOs: Let’s Ignite Social Impact Together

We believe that the seeds of health should be sown in every corner of the country. To fulfill our social responsibility, we are officially launching our "Community Nutrition Empowerment Initiative":

  • Who We Partner With: We welcome NGOs, non-profit organizations, community centers, or educational institutions across Malaysia to reach out.

  • Our Support: We provide professional nutrition talks or parent-child workshops with Zero Speaker Fees.

  • Our Goal: To popularize food safety knowledge, raise public nutritional awareness, and reduce the long-term risk of chronic diseases.

If you are committed to improving community well-being, please send us a private message. Let’s work together to create a healthier future for the next generation!
