Chan Chih Chia
Piano & Music Theory Teacher
Chan Chih Chia holds a Diploma in Music from the Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA), majoring in Piano and minoring in Cello. She has achieved ABRSM Grade 8 Piano, ABRSM Grade 6 Cello, and ABRSM Grade 5 Music Theory.
She has participated in various musical performances, including string ensemble, chamber music, and choir. Through these experiences, she had the opportunity to perform at venues such as Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay in Singapore and Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP).
She gained experience in music production through her internship at yNot Music Studio, where she was involved in music projects and event preparation. She also attended the Summer School Program with a scholarship at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, where she expanded her musical knowledge and exchanged experiences with music educators and students from China and other countries.
As a music teacher, she hopes to help students discover the joy of music and believes that music can be a meaningful companion throughout their lives.
