For a liquid-applied system, the specified primer and membrane coats are applied at the required coverage and allowed to cure between coats. Reinforcement may be incorporated at joints and other critical details when specified.

Application must follow the approved method and product requirements. Insufficient coverage, poorly formed overlaps, or rushed curing can reduce performance.
Stage 7: Inspection and quality checks
The completed system should be checked for visible defects, incomplete coverage, weak laps, pinholes, damaged areas, and unfinished details. Where suitable for the roof and project, an appropriate water-retention or drainage check may also be carried out under controlled conditions.

Any defects should be corrected before the work is handed over.
