KUALA LUMPUR (July 8, 2026): COMPASS IP Sdn Bhd has completed the sale of the final 36-acre parcel at COMPASS @ Kota Seri Langat, marking the full take-up of its 220-acre freehold managed industrial park in Selangor.


The transaction was formalised through the signing of a sale and purchase agreement (SPA), with the purchaser planning to develop a large-scale data centre on the site.


Final parcel acquired for data centre development


The buyer, Global Data Infrastructure Sdn Bhd, is part of an international infrastructure development consortium specialising in data centre projects.


The company plans to build a state-of-the-art data centre requiring:


300 MVA of power capacity.


210 MW of IT load.


According to the developer, all necessary approvals in principle have been obtained, allowing construction to commence shortly after completion of the land acquisition.
