Proton eMAS 5 Gets New Jade Green Colour Option
Pro-Net, the EV subsidiary of Proton, has officially introduced a brand-new Jade Green exterior colour for the Proton eMAS 5. The fresh new shade gives the electric hatchback a more stylish and modern appearance while expanding the available colour lineup to six options.
The new Jade Green joins the existing colours: Marble Cream, Moonstone White, Graphite Silver, Slate Grey, and Quartz Rose. Inside, buyers can still choose between two cabin themes — Alabaster White and Flint Grey — depending on the selected exterior colour and variant.
Pricing for the eMAS 5 remains unchanged, with the Prime variant priced at RM59,800 while the Premium variant continues at RM72,800.
Apart from the introduction of the new colour, the EV’s specifications remain the same. The Prime variant comes with a rear-mounted electric motor producing 79 hp and 130 Nm of torque, paired with a 30.12 kWh CATL LFP battery offering up to 225 km WLTP-rated range.
Meanwhile, the Premium variant delivers 114 hp and 150 Nm, supported by a larger 40.16 kWh LFP battery that increases the driving range to 325 km (WLTP).
Both variants continue to support AC and DC fast charging, with DC charging capable of recharging the battery from 30% to 80% in just 21 minutes.
