Locally Assembled 2026 Mitsubishi Xforce Opens Orders in Malaysia

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has officially previewed the 2026 Xforce, a B-segment SUV that is locally assembled (CKD) in Pekan, Pahang. The first unit recently rolled off the production line, and order taking starts today, with estimated pricing at RM110k for the Urban and RM120k for the Ultimate, on-the-road without insurance.

Early buyers enjoy perks including a five-year unlimited-mileage warranty and RM5,000 rebate for the first 1,000 customers. Existing Mitsubishi owners and their immediate family members are eligible for an additional RM1,000 loyalty rebate, further lowering the price. Buyers are also entered into a “Buy 1 Free 1” contest for a chance to win another Xforce.

The Xforce replaces the outgoing ASX in Malaysia and comes in two variants: Urban and Ultimate, both powered by a 1.5L naturally aspirated MIVEC petrol engine with CVT, delivering 105 PS and 141 Nm. Front-wheel drive is standard, and features include electronic parking brake, hill start assist, and Active Yaw Control.

Design highlights retain elements from the XFC Concept, including Dynamic Shield front face, T-shaped LED lighting, muscular fenders, floating roofline, and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the Urban variant comes with an 8-inch touchscreen, 4.2-inch TFT display, LED lighting, dual-zone AC, wired Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, while the Ultimate adds a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, digital cluster, wireless connectivity, nanoe X air purifier, premium audio system, and powered tailgate.

Safety features include four airbags, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, parking sensors, and around view monitor on the Urban, while the Ultimate adds six airbags, tyre pressure monitoring, adaptive cruise control, forward collision mitigation with AEB, and auto high beam. The Xforce has achieved a five-star ASEAN NCAP rating.

The launch in Malaysia is expected in April 2026, giving buyers a new locally-assembled B-SUV option in a highly competitive segment.
