About AMPP Malaysia Chapter
Established in March 1995, the NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers) Malaysia Section is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting corrosion awareness and enhancing materials performance in the oil and gas sector. In 2021, following the merger of NACE International and SSPC, we became part of the Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP), headquartered in Houston, Texas. AMPP has over 140 chapters worldwide, including the AMPP Malaysia Chapter, which currently has more than 360 members. Our mission is to advance industry standards, foster innovation, and support professional development in materials protection.
 
About EAPAC
The East Asia and Pacific Area Conference (EAPAC) is a prestigious international event organised and hosted by chapters in the East Asia and Pacific region focused on corrosion protection and mitigation. The conference brings together professionals from across the world to exchange knowledge, foster business relationships, and explore innovations. In 2025, the AMPP Malaysia Chapter will host EAPAC at Marriott Putrajaya, Malaysia, with the theme ''Sustainable Innovations in Materials and Corrosion Engineering.'' EAPAC is one of the most prominent conferences dedicated to materials protection. This year's event promises to highlight cutting edge technologies in the field, while offering opportunities to experience the rich culture of Malaysian
