Honda Malaysia Introduces 10-Year Unlimited Mileage Hybrid Warranty
Honda Malaysia has announced a major upgrade to its hybrid vehicle support under the “Hybrid Done Right” campaign, offering a 10-year unlimited mileage warranty for hybrid batteries and selected hybrid components.
Starting from May 1, 2026, all new Honda e:HEV models sold in Malaysia will receive the enhanced coverage. This includes hybrid variants of the Honda City, Honda City Hatchback, Honda HR-V, Honda Civic and Honda CR-V.
Existing owners of e:HEV models and older i-DCD hybrid vehicles, including the Honda Jazz Hybrid, will also benefit from the updated warranty program.
Previously, Honda’s hybrid battery warranty was limited to eight years. With this latest update, the coverage has now been extended to 10 years with no mileage limit. Selected hybrid components will also enjoy an upgraded warranty period of up to 10 years, compared to the previous five-year coverage.
In addition, the warranty is now transferable to second-hand owners of Honda e:HEV and i-DCD models. This means future owners can continue enjoying the warranty coverage after ownership transfer, as long as the vehicle remains within the 10-year warranty period.
The move highlights Honda Malaysia’s confidence in its hybrid technology while giving customers better long-term ownership value and added peace of mind.
