On 30 January, EMRO Malaysia visited the Tapak Pelupusan Sanitari Sungai Udang landfill in Melaka. The landfill has been spraying the garbage dump with EM. They spray EMAS twice per day, day and night with EMAS at 100x dilution. We felt the smell was bearable during our visit ♲
The landfill company reported less malodour than before and fewer complaints had been received after spraying. Thanks to EM!!
We also saw the garbage lorries that bring nearly 800 tonnes of garbage per day. Most of it goes to landfills and the rest is sent for recycling.
EM does its job!
