Toy Compression Test 🧸🔧

Compression testing is performed to evaluate the strength, durability, and deformation behavior of toys when subjected to compressive force. During the test, a controlled load is applied using a Universal Testing Machine (UTM) to simulate pressure that may occur during normal use, such as sitting, squeezing, stepping, or stacking.

As the force is applied, engineers observe the load–deformation response of the toy structure. This helps determine whether the product can maintain its structural integrity without cracking, collapsing, or releasing small components that may pose potential safety hazards.

Compression testing also allows manufacturers to verify that toys meet relevant safety standards and quality requirements, ensuring they remain reliable and safe during real-world handling by children.

By simulating realistic mechanical stresses, this test plays an important role in product safety validation and quality control within the toy manufacturing industry.
