Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd Delivers 53% Surge in 4Q Profit on Strong Construction and Property Contributions

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 27) — Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd posted a robust set of fourth-quarter results for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2025 (4QFY2025), with net profit jumping 53.36% year-on-year as all core business segments recorded improvements, led by its construction division.

Quarterly net profit climbed to RM66.73 million, equivalent to 5.31 sen per share, compared with RM43.52 million or 3.45 sen per share a year earlier. Revenue increased 12.3% to RM671.66 million from RM598.07 million previously, reflecting stronger progress billings and project contributions.

In line with its improved earnings performance, the group declared a higher dividend of 3.5 sen per share for the quarter, up from three sen previously.

Property Segment Gains Traction

A key driver of the quarterly growth was the significant expansion in the property development segment, where revenue surged 123.9% to RM115.23 million. Contributions were largely derived from The Vue @ Monterez and Papyrus @ North Kiara, both located in Kuala Lumpur and benefiting from healthy buyer demand.

The group’s strong final quarter lifted its full-year performance meaningfully. For FY2025, net profit rose 40.21% to RM224.68 million, while annual revenue grew 22.55% to RM2.25 billion. Construction remained the primary revenue engine, generating RM1.93 billion in external revenue, followed by property development at RM320.82 million.

In terms of segment profitability, construction led with RM229.6 million, while investment holdings — mainly dividend income from subsidiaries — contributed RM200.67 million. Property development and manufacturing recorded RM35.89 million and RM4.27 million respectively.

As at Dec 31, 2025, the group maintained a healthy outstanding construction order book of RM3.9 billion, providing earnings visibility moving forward.

Positive Spillover for KL and Selangor Real Estate

Kerjaya Prospek’s continued strength in construction and property development reinforces broader confidence in Kuala Lumpur’s real estate fundamentals. Ongoing high-rise residential and mixed-use developments help sustain long-term demand for commercial property in KL, particularly as businesses expand alongside new urban communities.

As infrastructure and residential growth accelerate, surrounding industrial ecosystems also benefit. Contractors, suppliers and manufacturers supporting large-scale developments frequently seek industrial land in Selangor for warehousing, fabrication and distribution activities. Established industrial corridors continue to see steady enquiries for industrial property in Subang area and factory in Puchong, driven by the need for operational bases close to Klang Valley project sites.

At the same time, maturing residential hubs often stimulate demand for strategically located office space in Bukit Jalil and other emerging commercial nodes, as service providers and corporate occupiers move closer to growing population centres.

With a solid order book, expanding property contributions and sustained construction momentum, Kerjaya Prospek’s performance reflects underlying resilience in Malaysia’s property and infrastructure landscape — particularly across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor’s integrated industrial and commercial markets.
