Long before the first guest arrived, our dedicated Marketing Committee was on-site, ensuring every detail—from the technical AV setup to the registration flow—was engineered to perfection. As the doors opened, the room buzzed with energy as staff and guests checked in, marking the official start of our 2026 journey.
In honor of the festive season, the event kicked off with a roaring Lion Dance performance, clearing the path for a year of "Ong" and success. This was followed by the Prosperity Tossing (Loulou Yee Sang), where our leadership and staff stood side-by-side, tossing to new heights of growth, health, and engineering breakthroughs.
The energy remained high with the first round of the Lucky Draw, rewarding our hardworking team with exciting prizes. Amidst the cheers, we took a moment for Onboarding Introductions, officially welcoming the newest members of the EKG family into our corporate culture.
As the sun set, the EKG family shared a meaningful Buka Puasa (opening of the fast). This moment of shared a meal underscored our company’s commitment to inclusivity and respect, bringing everyone together in a spirit of gratitude before the evening’s formal addresses.
Our Chief Operations Director, Sally, took the stage to deliver a roadmap for the "New EKG." She introduced our realigned business segments and unveiled the company’s new strategic agendas. The highlight? The reveal of our New Company Slogan, a mantra that will guide our technical rigor in every project from Menara PNB to Wisma UNIRAZAK.
To keep the momentum surging, the Marketing Committee surprised the room with a choreographed dance to "We Rock." Their performance was a testament to the creativity and "can-do" spirit that defines our back-of-house operations.
The technical heart of the night featured a moving speech by our founder, Dato’ Sri Ricky Yaw. He shared the history of EKG, the struggles overcome by Eakon Academy, and the "why" behind our mission. He then officially introduced our new business partner, Mr. Koh, marking EKG’s bold move into AC system and AHU manufacturing—a massive step toward becoming a self-sufficient MEP powerhouse.
We then turned the spotlight onto our most valuable assets: our people. The Award Ceremony acknowledged the dedicated nature of our staff. These awards were not just for performance, but for the grit and technical excellence that keep Malaysia’s infrastructure running at its best.
As the night reached its peak, the lights went down for a massive Karaoke Session. A sea of phone flashes waved in unison as the room sang along to the EKG Music Video song.
The evening concluded with an explosive Closing Dance. Led by the Marketing Team to the beats of "Good Time" and "Bang Bang Bang," the performance evolved into a full-room celebration. From the VIPs to the technicians, every person in attendance joined the dance floor, embodying the "One EKG" spirit.
