KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 6): Flexible workspace provider WORQ has introduced a new coworking concept, WORQ Well, at Aspire Tower in KL Eco City, marking the debut of a people-centric workspace designed to prioritise employee wellbeing and productivity. The newly opened facility reached full occupancy on its first day of operations.
The coworking space covers approximately 34,300 sq ft and can accommodate up to 500 members. In addition to modern workspaces, the facility offers lifestyle-oriented amenities, including access to a full-sized swimming pool and convenient connectivity to nearby LRT and KTM stations, making it attractive to companies seeking well-located office space in Kuala Lumpur with strong public transport links.
With the launch of this location, WORQ’s total managed workspace has expanded to about 340,000 sq ft, strengthening its presence in the Klang Valley’s flexible office market. The project was developed in partnership with S P Setia Bhd and has achieved the WELL Coworking Rating from the International WELL Building Institute, making it one of the first coworking environments in Malaysia to receive this certification.
WORQ’s co-founder and CEO Stephanie Ping said the new concept represents a significant step in designing workspaces that help organisations attract talent, improve employee wellbeing, and enhance operational performance. She also highlighted the company’s growing focus on transit-oriented locations, noting that the proportion of members commuting by public transport has increased significantly over the years.
The company plans to expand the WORQ Well brand nationwide by collaborating with landlords to create community-driven shared work environments.
The growth of flexible workspaces is also shaping demand patterns across the broader property market. Businesses increasingly seek adaptable office space in Bukit Jalil and other parts of the Klang Valley, while companies involved in logistics and manufacturing continue to look for industrial land in Selangor, factory space in Puchong, and industrial property in the Subang area to support operations. This shift reflects how evolving workplace trends are influencing both commercial property in KL and the wider industrial and office real estate landscape.
