This project for Ms. Hatin and Mr. Farez is a true reflection of how great design meets everyday practicality.
The journey began when the couple attended our Carte Tour Workshop Event on June 8th, 2024. After experiencing our material quality and understanding our design approach, they chose Carte Kitchen to bring their dream kitchen to life.
Guided by our experienced design consultant Zoey Tan from Carte Kitchen Sungai Petani, the homeowners embarked on a renovation journey that resulted in a kitchen that is not only beautiful but thoughtfully tailored to their day-to-day needs.
The wet kitchen features a practical L-shaped layout, optimized for cooking efficiency and visual appeal.
Sink placed directly in front of a window — allowing natural light to brighten the space while offering a refreshing view during meal prep.
Fridge neatly integrated on the left side of the cabinetry for a clean, seamless flow.
Cooking zone on the right, complete with a hob, stove, and illuminated open shelves to display essentials stylishly.
A chest freezer positioned at the far-right corner for added convenience without disrupting the overall layout.
This space is designed to feel inviting, airy, and effortless for daily cooking activities.
Across from the wet kitchen sits a tall two-door pantry cabinet, offering generous storage space for dry goods and electrical appliances.
The dry kitchen features a sleek I-shaped layout that combines modern design with functional details:
Built-in oven for seamless integration and a polished look
3-tier Blum drawers for smooth, efficient storage and easy access
Bar-style seating for two, perfect for coffee breaks or casual meals
Three concealed cabinets under the seating area to maximize storage
Glass-door upper cabinets that add elegance and allow homeowners to display tableware or decorative pieces
This setup brings together practicality and aesthetic charm, making the dry kitchen an enjoyable space for both cooking and hosting.
The adjacent laundry area maintains the design flow of the kitchen, featuring:
Wall cabinets for organized storage
Floating shelves for easy access to laundry essentials
A top-load washing machine for everyday convenience
This minimalist setup ensures the laundry zone stays clean, organized, and functional.
The entire kitchen and laundry area are unified with:
Beige melamine cabinetry for a warm, modern feel
White quartz stone countertops for durability, cleanliness, and visual elegance
This combination creates a high-end, cohesive look that elevates the entire home interior.
