Features of NIIGATA Swivel Joint
TEN swivel joint permits 360 degree rotation allowing smooth flow radii for minimum flow restriction, and enables the piping to be configured in any directions as required.
Especially for cryogenic use such as LNG, LN2 or refrigerated ethylene, TEN swivel joint features safe and reliable performance. Also, TEN swivel joint is widely used for various applications including food industry, sanitary use as well as architecture.
1. Permit 360 degree rotation consisting of several ball bearings.
2. Enable high mechanical strength and smooth swiveling with several ball bearings at rotating part.
3. The packing for inner pressure prevents liquid leakage assuredly and make performance with low friction.
4. For low pressure, high pressure, extra high pressure and high temperature types are available for your selection.
5. Total 8 types of basic swivel joint by the conbination of rotating parts and elbows permit 360 degree rotation and any movements.
6. Material of swivel joint body and packing can be selected for purpose of use.

TEN double-seal type swivel joint is mainly used for drain piping system for floating roof tank, which has special double-seal construction in order to withstand external pressure, and has stainless steel overlaid sealing surface.
New Double-Seal Type (BDR)
New double-seal type swivel joint series has been developed to provide long term usage, which is use of improved material compound for double-seal for external seal, and the double main packing to assure complete leak tight. The stainless steel overlaying has been extended to improve anti-corrosion functions.
